Visits were made to farms with an emphasis on some of the smaller enterprises as well as a Farmer’s Market, Mole Valley Farmers and Kingston Maurward College in Dorset.
A Cultural Evening was held at Bicton with an African Meal after which Morris Dancers performed and everyone joined in. This was followed by a Devon Cream Tea.
Some weekends were spent with the generous hospitality of Friends of B.O.A.T.
The group worked well together, expressed their views and asked a lot of questions.
With participants from four different African Countries they were able to exchange and discuss ideas.
The Course concluded with a Presentation Evening at Broadhembury House at which the Africans received their Attendance Certificates and momentoes of Bicton College.
This was a most successful course with positive feedback. |
